Thank you to Chris Ervin for officiating our election. Join us in thanking and appreciating Chessie Alberti and Kim Sharp for their board service over the last several years and wishing them the best in their future pursuits.

Travel Grant for Conferences

The PNWCA board would like to launch a grant application opportunity for PNWCA-area writing center professionals and students to support participation in the 2024 IWCA@CCCC Collaborative, which will take place on April 3, 2024 in Spokane, WA.

We would like to provide a total of 4 travel grants: 2 travel grants for PNWCA-area writing center professionals and 2 travel grants for PNWCA-area student-tutors to attend IWCA@CCC Collaborative.

Collaborative registration cost: $105 – $160, depending on status (IWCA member/non-member, or student/professional)
Hotel cost for Tuesday and/or Wednesday: Up to $200 per night, max of $400 for hotel for 2 nights
Travel: Up to $100 for mileage/parking
Up to $660 per applicant
